Want a quick way to check your hospice payment rate now that rates have changed? HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS is offering a helping hand.
CGS’s Hospice Payment Rate Calculator has been updated with the Fiscal Year 2015 rates for hospice providers to determine their payment rates, CGS says. You can access the tool atwww.cgsmedicare.com/hhh/claims/fees/hospice_rates.html.
How it works: Enter the fiscal year for the dates of service, state, and county or CBSA code where the services were provided. Once the information is entered, the following rate information for the selected county/CBSA will display: CBSA code Wage Index; Routine Home Care (per day); Cont Home Care (per hour); Inpt Respite Care (per day); Gen Inpt Care (per day).
