Updated Medicare Benchmarking Reports Are Out

Newly revised free benchmarks that Medicare provides you through the PEPPER program are now available. Hospices can register for an April 26 webinar reviewing the latest PEPPER report, PEPPER contractor TMF Health Quality Institute says on the PEPPER website. A recording of the webinar will be available on the website by May 10, TMF says. Register online at https://pepperresources.org/Training-Resources/Hospices. While the data for the report is updated through the fourth quarter of 2017, the format of the report has stayed the same as last year with no new target areas added. The newest of the 11 target areas in the report is "Long General Inpatient Care Stays," which was added for the first time to last year's report.
