Visits In Last 3 Days Of Life Measure Is Now Public

If you haven’t done so yet, head over to Hospice Compare to see your recently updated quality data. The update reflects Hospice Item Set (HIS) quality measure results from data collected Q4 2017 to Q3 2018 and Hospice CAHPS Survey results reported Q4 2016 to Q3 2018, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says in a message to providers. Remember: Hospice Compare now includes performance scores on the Hospice Visits when Death is Imminent measure in the last three days of life. The same measure for the last seven days of life is on indefinite hold.
