Answer: The patient underwent cardiac pacemaker revision only, without any replacement whatsoever. Moreover, reports suggest that he does not have any minor or major complications or co morbidities. Assuming so, the Major Diagnostic Category (MDC) for the patient would be 05 (Diseases and disorders of the circulatory system). The DRG would be 262 (Cardiac pacemaker revision except device replacement W/O CC/MCC).
