Code 94760 (Noninvasive ear or pulse oximetry for oxygen saturation; single determination) (also called "pulse ox") is a status T (bundled) code, according to the 2009 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. T codes are paid only if no other services are payable under the physician fee schedule billed on the same date by the same provider. Always check with individual payers to delineate their policies. Your best bet is to get your payer's agreement in writing.
