If you’re looking for a way to engage staff in QAPI initiatives related to dementia care, consider a little help from YouTube. AMDA recommends a video that it describes as “a beautiful and compelling” look at five people living with dementia. Filmed by a former National Geographic cinematographer, the video, titled Person-Centered Matters,” spotlights person-centered care as an approach that has helped the featured individuals to live meaningful lives. Among those interviewed is Jonathan Evans, MD, MPH, CMD, AMDA’s immediate past president.
