The following bill was introduced in the House: HR 3382. A bill to amend titles II and XVIII of the Social Security Act to waive certain waiting periods for Social Security disability and Medicare benefits in the case of a terminally ill, disabled individual. Introduced Oct. 28 by Rep. Michael Rogers (R-AL), referred to the Committee on Ways and Means and the Committee on Energy and Commerce.
