CMS Offers Medicare Billing Certification Are you a Medicare billing pro? CMS now offers certification that allows you to prove your skill. On March 22, CMS announced the inception of its Medicare Billing Certificate Programs for both Part A and Part B providers. To achieve the distinction, you'll register for the program, then take a 21-hour course about Medicare billing followed by a post-assessment.
