PY 2022 MIPS Measures Tool Is Now Available for Perusal

If you’ve yet to review the performance year (PY) 2022 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) measures options, now is the time to take a gander. Nuts and bolts: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently updated its online measures tool for PY 2022. “CMS created the tool to help MIPS-eligible clinicians get familiar with the available measures and activities for each performance category under traditional MIPS. It’s for planning purposes only and will not submit anything to CMS,” an agency alert says. You can access the handy tool, which supports clinicians participating in traditional MIPS, at https://qpp.cms.gov/mips/explore-measures?tab=qualityMeasures&py=2022.
