Hint: You can perform AWVs on new patients. Part B practices looking for answers about the new annual wellness visit (AWV) services that Medicare allows this year have come up short, with CMS still waiting to release more comprehensive coding guidance on the matter than the MLN Matters article that the agency issued months ago.
