Looking for continuing education credits? Look to CMS. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services June 17 said that it's considering applying to become an accredited provider of continuing education. If it does, it will use a new system, the MLN Registration and Product Ordering System, to keep tabs on continuing education credit information. In the near term, the new MLNR-POS will enable CMS to track product fulfillment and product inventory as providers order CMS educational products. If and when the agency becomes an accredited provider of continuing education credits, MLNR-POS will track credit information.
