OASIS bathing ability item M1830 earns additional case mix points for a response of "2" or higher. Responses "2" through "6" provide three case mix point in equations 1 and 2, and six case mix points in equations 3 and 4. While calculating the reimbursement impact of each OASIS item is complex, assuming all other items are equal and assuming an answer bumps you from a functional severity value of F1 (case mix F) to F2 (case mix G) or F2 to F3 (case mix H), the maximum reimbursement difference if you answered M1308 with "0" or "1" versus "2" or higher could potentially be nearly $318, says
Caution:
