Correction:

Modifier -GA Is for an ABN

 An astute reader noticed that in the January issue of Ophthalmology Coding Alert the note following Modifier -GX Replacements on page 8 said to use modifier -GA when an advance beneficiary notice (ABN) is not on file. Modifier -GA indicates an ABN is on file.
