Check these new ophthalmology bundles and keep your claims clean The National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI), version 11.1, released the following ophthalmology-related bundles that take effect April 1.

 * Modifier indicator "1" means you may use modifier -59 (Distinct procedural service) to unbundle the procedures, but only under certain circumstances.
