Code 92133 (Scanning computerized ophthalmic diagnostic imaging, posterior segment, with interpretation and report, unilateral or bilateral; optic nerve) is the correct code for OCT for glaucoma suspects. Also, the article was wrong about the bilateral status of 92134. Both 92134 and 92133 have a bilateral modifier indicator of "2," which means that the codes are considered inherently bilateral and the usual fee adjustments for bilateral reporting do not apply.
