Payment for Snoreplasty

Question: Our otolaryngologist performed an injection to harden the uvula and palate for snoring. Is there a CPT code we can use to bill for this service? Michigan Subscriber The procedure you describe is snoreplasty, which carriers consider cosmetic therefore a noncovered service. Instead of reporting snoreplasty to insurers, you should inform patients before scheduling the procedure that it is a cash service.
