Otolaryngology Coding Alert

Seasoned Editor Takes Helm of Otolaryngology Coding Alert

The November Otolaryngology Coding Alert will introduce readers to a different writing style via a veteran editor.

The current editor in chief, Jennifer Godreau, CPC, is taking the reins of the primary-care publications. Otolaryngology Coding Alert readers will benefit from G.J. Verhovshek, CPC, who has four-plus years of writing experience for The Coding Institute-s general surgery, neurology and neurosurgery newsletters.

Otolaryngology Coding Alert readers will continue to gain real-world coding advice and expertise from long-time consulting editors Barbara J. Cobuzzi, MBA, CPC, CPC-H, CHBME, president of CRN Healthcare Solutions in Tinton Fall, N.J.; and Charles F. Koopmann Jr., MD, MHSA, professor and associate chair at the University of Michigan's department of otolaryngology in Ann Arbor.

Godreau bids a fond farewell to the otolaryngology coders and physicians. -Thank you to the countless individuals who taught me about the unique challenges this specialty presents,- she says.
