ICD-10 isn’t very far away anymore, and CMS wants you to have all the latest news. The agency has invited the medical community to participate in its latest ICD-10 update, which will take place during the ICD-9-CM Coordination and Maintenance Committee Meeting on March 5.
CMS will host the meeting from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on March 5, and will cover such ICD-10 topics as codes for gluten sensitivity, Salter Harris fractures, and urinary device complications, among other topics. To dial into the event, you can call 877-267-1577 (meeting code 6601), or you can join the webcast at www.cms.gov/live.
