See Details on HHS’ Latest Round of Provider Relief Guidance Revisions

If you’re planning on doing your Provider Relief Fund (PRF) reporting soon, you may want to check out the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) frequently asked questions (FAQs) first. The agency released a number of updates last month.

Example: In response to a question about the timeframe in which providers must use funds, HHS “funds must be expended no later than June 30, 2021” and “HHS will provide directions in the future about how to return unused funds.”

The new FAQs don’t contain any bombshells, but “those responsible for the eventual submission of the use of PRF should remain aware of all changes,” advises consulting firm The Health Group in Morgantown, West Virginia.
