With the fast and furious release of new CPT® codes for SARS-CoV-2 testing, it pays to take a step back and understand how it all fits together. Use the following table as a handy reference tool for CPT® Category I codes currently available (at press time). The table includes an abbreviated code description plus a brief explanation of how labs use the tests.
