News Brief:

No Changes for Pathology in CCI 7.3

Version 7.3 of CMS Correct Coding Initiative edits , effective Oct. 1, 2001, through Dec. 31, 2001, contains no changes for pathology codes. Because these edits show which codes cannot be used together in reimbursement claims, it is important that coders keep up with quarterly updates to the edits.
