Clarification:
Radiological Supervision for Diskography

In our July issue, we published a reader question about diskography coding in which we stated that CPT 72295 (Diskography, lumbar, radiological supervision and interpretation) should be reported only once per diskography, despite the number of injections given. A subscriber pointed out to us that the North American Spine Society clarified this and allows coders to bill multiple units of 72295 to correspond with the number of diskography injections administered. We apologize for the error.
