Final 2015 Per-Visit Amounts For Home Health LUPAs and Outliers

As urged by numerous commenters, CMS has “reweighted some of the impact of therapy” in its case mix change, notes financial consulting firm Dixon Healthcare Solutions on its blog. CMS does at least provide a clear explanation of the case mix weight changes in the final rule, the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) appreciated in its rule analysis.

Rates are 2 percent lower for agencies that do not submit quality data.
