Question: Is there a V code for wound checks? Our therapists do the follow-up care and we are not sure how to bill it. Mississippi Subscriber Answer: The most appropriate V codes for follow-up wound checks would probably be V58.3 (Attention to surgical dressings and sutures) and V58.4x (Other aftercare following surgery). Select the most appropriate code based on your care for the patient.
