There was an error in the last issue of Medical Office Billing & Collections Alert in the article "Incorporate New ABN To Collect For Non-Covered Services Going Forward." The article incorrectly referred to the new advance beneficiary notice (ABN) as CMS-R-193. The correct form is CMS-R-131. A copy of the 2011 version of the ABN (form CMS-R-131) is online at www.cms.gov/BNI, under the "FFS Revised ABN" link.
