A9552 Has Specific Item 19 Requirements for Noridian

If you're submitting a PET claim to Noridian Medicare Part B, be sure to follow these tactics for A9552 (Fluorodeoxyglucose F-18 FDG, diagnostic, per study dose, up to 45 millicuries):Do: Include invoice price plus shipping cost in Item 19 of the CMS-1500 or its electronic equivalent. Failure to include the information will trigger a denial.Don't: The price you list in Item 19 should not include handling or other fees.Do: Keep an invoice copy in the patient's file.
