Don't Worry About Conversion Factor Changes Yet

There will be a 0 percent update (no change) in physicians fees through 3/31/15. Until then the conversion factor will remain at $35.8228. A new conversion factor and final fee schedule for 2015 are to be published on Nov. 1, 2014. “Until then we must wait with hopeful expectations,” says Michael A. Ferragamo, MD, FACS, clinical assistant professor of urology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
