Answer: You have two options for the procedure code:

• 52500 – Transurethral resection of bladder neck (separate procedure), a primary bladder neck contracture, and
• 52640 – Transurethral resection; of postoperative bladder neck contracture.

The urologist’s documentation should point you to the correct choice. For the diagnosis, assign ICD-10 code N32.0 (Bladder-neck obstruction) for either code used.
