The CPT® Assistant Special Edition: July Update focuses on important updates to coding administration of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.
The issue includes guidance on:
- Three new vaccine administration codes (0091A, 0092A, 0093A) for patients ages 6 to 11 years
- One revised vaccine booster administration code (0094A) for patients 18 and older
- One new vaccine administration code (0113A) for patients ages 6 months to 5 years
