July 2022 CPT® Assistant Special Edition: Get Up to Speed on Latest Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Code Changes

The CPT^® Assistant Special Edition: July Update focuses on important updates to coding administration of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

The issue includes guidance on:

• Three new vaccine administration codes (0091A, 0092A, 0093A) for patients ages 6 to 11 years
• One revised vaccine booster administration code (0094A) for patients 18 and older
• One new vaccine administration code (0113A) for patients ages 6 months to 5 years
