Now on Codify by AAPC: CMS-1500 scrubber lets you save claims and access the modifier crosswalk

Codify by AAPC by AAPC has added two new features to the CMS-1500 scrubber.

Save and load claims: The first new feature allows you to save claims and load them back into the scrubber. After you enter the data for a claim, click Save Claim at the bottom of the scrubber screen. A popup box will open. Finalize the Claim ID, and then click Save.

Click Load Saved Claim on the top right of the scrubber to access your saved claims

You can search, edit, clone, or delete claims using the new feature.

Modifier crosswalk: The second feature is fast access to AAPC’s modifier crosswalk to CPT® and HCPCS Level II codes. Enter a procedure or supply code in the scrubber, and then click the green button on the Modifier row to open the crosswalk.

In the crosswalk, you can search for modifiers and click under Action to add a modifier to your claim
