After the usual October 1 update, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released revised versions of Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) Addendum A and Addendum B.
Addendum A includes OPPS ambulatory payment classifications (APCs) along with information such as status indicators and payment rates. Addendum B shows OPPS payment by CPT® or HCPCS Level II code.
The data from these revised Nov. 14, 2022, files is now available on Codify. The effective date for this new data is Oct. 1, 2022.
