Are you struggling to fit E/M coding training into your physician’s busy schedule? Are you looking for ways to better communicate documentation requirements to your physician? Your doctor may only have 20 minutes but what if it only took 15? In this workshop you will learn how to communicate key points that will lead to improved documentation and accurate E/M code selection in minimal time. E/M codes are the most frequently billed codes. The complexity of the E/M Guidelines combined with the grey areas can make code selection difficult. This workshop is designed to help you confidently provide clear guidance that will simplify the process for you and your physician.
  • How to translate E/M documentation rules into a clinical discussion your physician will enjoy
  • Key strategies for improving documentation
  • How to connect with your physician and provide meaningful feedback FAST
  • E/M Documentation Guidelines
  • Differentiate between E/M levels of service
  • Avoid over or under-coding claims

Why is this topic important? EM codes are the most frequently billed codes. Physicians may be missing revenue coding services at a lower level than what medical necessity supports. On the other hand they may be over coding without realizing or understanding all documentation requirements involved.

Who would benefit from this topic? EM coders , Anyone interested in reimbursement related to E/M codes

How would this benefit the individual and/or their company? This workshop offers an actionable alternative to lengthy documentation training that physicians do not have time for. This is a live event where you can ask an expert any E/M questions.
