ICD-10 Health Plan Training Dates and Opportunities

2010:

Geared toward the health plan this intense curriculum covers all business areas impacted by ICD-10 as well as special modules on ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS. As an added bonus the curriculum contains tools and resources for you to customize for implementation.
- Beginning in April, Onsite 3-Day Implementation Training — Schedule Now!
Particularly geared toward Health Plans, this onsite training will cover implementation training and guidance, featuring intensive training on ICD-10-CM, structure and guidelines, crosswalking and mapping, along with hands-on exercises using the ICD-10-CM code set. The curriculum will also include an introduction into ICD-10-PCS beneficial for the facility coder if desired. This will enable any provider location to systematically and cleanly make the switch to ICD-10. (Fixed price per location - GET QUOTE).

- September 30, Proficiency Validation Ends
Proficiency validation will be taken online within the AAPC Member Area. The validation will be composed of 75 questions, timed and open book. All certified coders are required to pass the validation by September 30, 2014 to maintain certification. The proficiency validation may be taken twice for $60.
