I need help on the place of service code. We are dermatologists group owns a lab. The outside lab prep the slides and they send them back to the office for our dermatopathologist to read. We used 11 for place of service for the reading, modifier 26, and CLIA #.
We have no problem with other insurance, except OXFORD.
However, they said the code 88305/88304/88312.. etc can't be billed with office as place of service.
All other insurance has no problem. What should I use for Oxford? Should I use different POS for only Oxford?
