Our Lab has been billing code 0223U for a respiratory Viral Panel. This code included up to 22 targets, which Medicare has listed now as non-covered. We are having issues about how to bill out all the test in this panel and getting reimbursed for the test. Any help would be appreciated. Below is a list of all the test in the panel 0223U our lab is currently billing.

Medicare in an outpatient setting will not cover this charge; does your healthcare facility know how to complete an ABN? You can find that information on the CMS.gov website to help.
