Atherectomy Codes

In our September issue on page 66, we incorrectly stated that an atherectomy performed during the same session as a stent should be coded 92995 (percutaneous transluminal coronary atherectomy, by mechanical or other method, with or without balloon angioplasty; single vessel). The correct code is 92996 (... each additional vessel [list separately in addition to code for primary procedure]).
