Hospital Company Founder Launches Home Care Venture

A new provider is looking to enter the high-acuity home care market. Laughlin Healthcare Group in Alpharetta, Ga., plans to acquire, develop, and operate home care and hospice agencies, founder Rod Laughlin says in a release. "I want to transform the home healthcare industry to deliver higher acuity services in the home," Laughlin says. Laughlin has previously founded and sold several hospital companies. He has "built his companies to meet the needs of patients in a way that others have not," he claims in the release.
