New Report Gives Advice On Boosting Your Outcomes

If so, tune into a free webinar on the topic, based on a new 10-month study of 800 HHAs sponsored by the software vendor Delta Health Technologies and NAHC. The Dec. 7 webinar "will provide an overview of the study along with a summary of the strategies and best practices used by these leading agencies," the trade group explains. "It will also provide recommendations and a model for measurably reducing avoidable hospitalizations that emerged from the study." Stats: "More than one out of every four patients who come to home care is hospitalized," NAHC points out. Hospitalization rates on Home Health Compare dropped from 29 to 26 percent, but have inched back up to 27 percent.
