• CMS isn't planning on releasing thespecifics of its financial standards for DME competitive bidding, the agency's Joel Kaiser said in the April 14 Open Door Forum for home care providers. That's because if CMS released the specific financial thresholds it calculates for awarding contracts, they could be manipulated by bidders and compromise the integrity of the program, Kaiser explained to one caller.
