• Baton Rouge, La.-based LHC Group Inc. plans to buy Twin Falls, Idaho-based Idaho Home Health and Hospice. Idaho Home Health serves 28 counties through nine locations in the state, LHC says in a release. Idaho Home Health founder Gary Thietten will become LHC's new vice president for business development. The acquisition marks LHC's entrance into the state, the company says. LHC plans to "more aggressively expand our footprint throughout the United States by partnering with freestanding and hospital-based agencies," LHC CEO Keith Myers says in the release.
