LTC Giant Tries Takeover Of Gentiva

The industry’s largest HHA chain could get a lot bigger, if a takeover bid ends up going through. Atlanta-based Gentiva Health Care Ser-vices Inc. has rejected a bid from long-term care giant Kindred Healthcare Inc. The merged companies would have $7.2 billion in annual revenues, Kindred says.
