With only two months to go before

With only two months to go before durable medical equipment competitive bidding goes live in nine areas, CMS is cranking up its issuance of bidding-related education materials. CMS's Medicare Learning Network now offers bidding fact sheets for traveling beneficiaries, physicians, and suppliers who are not contract suppliers. The fact sheets are online at www.cms.gov/DMEPOSCompetitiveBid/04_Educational_Resources.asp -- scroll down to the "Downloads" section. Meanwhile: Suppliers are incensed that CMS has not yet announced the contract suppliers. CMS requires 30 business days' notice to beneficiaries, notes NAIMES'Wayne Stanfield.
