Stay of top of preparing for your aggregate cap reporting, if your cap year ended with Sept. 30. “Hospices should begin preparations for the self-determined cap liability filing by ensuring PS&R System access to secure payments and beneficiary counts at the earliest date (three months after the end of the cap year),” recommends consulting firm The Health Group in Morgantown, West Virginia. “Additionally, hospices may want to secure payments and beneficiary counts early for estimating any liability payments that may be due on or before February 29, 2020,” the firm adds in its electronic newsletter.
