Hospice Compare Date Slides To Late Summer

Public comparison tool debut is still just around the corner.
You’ve got a little more time to prepare for Hospice Compare, as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services moves its target implementation date for the quality data website to late summer. CMS previously had said Hospice Compare could launch as early as this spring (see Eli’s Hospice Insider, Vol. 9, No. 6).
In a Jan. 18 training session on hospice quality, CMS revealed the later start date estimate, the National Association for Home Care & Hospice says in its newsletter.
