The following House bill was introduced: H.R. 1422. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to improve patient access to and utilization of the colorectal cancer screening benefit under the Medicare program. Introduced March 25 by Rep. Ben Cardin (D-MD), referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Ways and Means. The following Senate bill was introduced: S. 740. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to improve patient access to and utilization of the colorectal cancer screening benefit under the Medicare program. Introduced March 27 by Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT), referred to the Committee on Finance.
