The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services March 28 published its list of manual instructions, substantive and interpretive regulations and other Register notices published in the last quarter of last year. In other Register notices: CMS announced a meeting of the Negotiated Rulemaking Committee on special payments provisions and requirements for prosthetics and certain custom-fabricated orthotics, to be held May 19 and 20 in Baltimore. The meeting is open to the public. Got a quibble with pricing and coding recommendations for new durable medical equipment? CMS March 28 announced the dates of public meetings for DME coding and payment determinations. The meetings will be held June 24 through 26, with an optional extra day set aside on the 27th. Inpatient rehabilitation facilities can air their views of the prospective payment system at a town hall meeting slated for May 19 in Baltimore.
