Question: This may be very simple, but I can't think of the correct procedure for a craniectomy to allow for decompression of the brain because of herniation.Answer: Please check 61322 (Craniectomy or craniotomy, decompressive, with or without duraplasty, for treatment of intracranial hypertension, without evacuation of associated intraparenchymal hematoma; without lobectomy) and 61323 (... with lobectomy).
