Clarification

“Steer Clear of This Tempting IMRT Coding Trap,” in the April 2007 issue, reported Erin Goodwin, CPC, CMC, with South Carolina Oncology Associates, saying that “BCBS in her state often requires proof of some kind of pre-existing heart problem to cover IMRT for the left breast.” Goodwin actually said that this policy is for Alabama.
