• deletes abortion anesthesia code 01964 and replaces it with two new anesthesia codes for incomplete or missed abortions (01965) and induced abortions (01966).
• deletes two codes for dressings and/or debridement of burns under anesthesia (16010-16015) and revises 16020-16030 to delete the phrase "without anesthesia."
• deletes closed laryngeal fracture care codes 31585-31586.
• deletes lung resection codes 32520-32525 and replaces them with the more specific codes 32503-32504, for resection of an apical lung tumor (also known as a Pancoast tumor).
• adds two new codes for repair of pulmonary arborization anomalies by unifocalization (CPT 33925 -33926).
• adds two new codes for ligation, division and stripping of a short (37718) and long (37122) saphenous vein.
