Distinguish Lesions From Tumors

A lesion is any localized area of diseased or dead tissue. While lesions may be located on internal structures such as the nerves, in most instances they are visible on the skin. Tumors, on the other hand, are abnormal masses of tissue that are musculoskeletal (concerning, involving, or made up of both the muscles and the bones) in nature.
